Is meditation and yoga scientifically proven to be beneficial?

If so, what are the advantages and disadvantages of meditation and yoga?

    Yes…it relieves stress. Stress kills.

    There are no disadvantages and yes meditation has been proven to lower blood pressure and relieve stress and anxiety. Yoga is more of an exercise although depending on the type it can be a meditation also.. its great for flexibility and balance and can build muscle depending on the type.
