  1. I find that Chinese Astrology is pretty accurate, but parts of it tend to be inaccurate as well. It would also help to know when your exact birthday is, to figure out which element of the Rooster you are. 🙂 I have this astrology book that have brief descriptions on it… So, forgive me if they’re completely off lol.

Roosters are flamboyant people. Appearance is very important to them, and they are constantly improving themselves. They are friendly, pleasant, and obliging people. At times of crisis, they prove themselves to be resourceful and talented. They have the wisdom to take life as it comes and keep their attitudes relaxed. They are genuinely independent and rely on none but themselves for moral support and for solutions to their problems.

Positives : Honest, courageous, resilient, enthusiastic, relaxed, cultivated, loyal, sincere, capable, generous, charitable, entertaining.

The female rooster is not malicious, does not tell white lies, is reasonable, is social and communicative, applies herself to whatever she does, is not as secretive as male roosters, keeps her promises, is secretly a jealous person, appears frivolous, is good at dealing with catastrophes, and is generous with friends.

Typical occupations : TV anchor, hairdresser, actor, critic, teacher, journalist, travel writer, beautician, surgeon, dentist, police officer, restaurant owner.

Roosters like seductions, receiving admiring looks, serious conversations, putting on a show, tidiness, flattery, to dream, to give advice, spending money, to make an entrance.
They don’t like losing their composure, to be asked personal questions, poorly dressed people, interference in their affairs, practical jokes played on them, keeping their opinions to themselves.

They are bold, ostentatious, and confident in bed. They are egocentric and adept at seduction. They make sure their partner is satisfied physically. They are usually successful at seducing and keeping lovers. However they cannot resist temptation.

Sagittarius rooster ; Sagittarius makes these roosters less ostentatious than their fellows. These roosters are still enthusiastic, excitable, but not as pretentious. They have a more holistic approach to life and they like to travel.

  2. Rooster people are very observant. And most of the time, they are very accurate and precise with their observation. Perhaps, you can say that Roosters have a very keen “sixth-sense”. With Roosters, what you see is exactly what you get. There are no hidden depths to the Rooster’s character: he is neither complicated nor profound, rather, he is very forthright and straightforward.
The rooster likes to be noticed and flattered. He might dress a little flashily with this in mind, but in his heart, he is completely conservative. Roosters always appear attractive and beautifully turned out. They are sociable and love to receive attention.

Believe it or not, it is not an easy task to fool the Rooster. His mind is cautious and skeptical, with this perceptive gift, Roosters make excellent trouble shooters, detectives, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists. Roosters are always up, out and doing. You rarely see a relaxed rooster that sits quietly in the livingroom, doing nothing. They are also multitalented, and can become accomplished in many different ways.

All Roosters are extremely conscious about clothing and appearance. They may appear conservative but are obsessed with their look – they can spend hours standing in front of the mirrors and will not even wink when they spend $500 for a dress. That doesn’t mean they don’t care about money, in fact, they love to compare prices and even if the bargain is only few cents or few dollars cheaper, they will be satisfied.

Though sharp, practical and resourceful, the Rooster also likes to dream. And because he likes to dream, he will disappointed the loved one, for the reality will never match up to the dreams he would like to share with her. Although he really is sincere about those dreams.

Rooster make great hosts and adore entertaining. The main virtue in the Rooster character is loyalty: they make devoted friends. They always keep their promises and are always true to their word. When Roosters love and admire someone, they will even catch the moon just to keep them happy.

Hardworking, resourceful, courageous and talented, Roosters are self-assured people. They possess powerful personalities and are notoriously dominant. In groups they are vivacious, amusing and popular. But Roosters can be conceited creatures, vain and boastful, with a strong egotistical need to constantly be the center of attention. Excellent at small talk, they can be the life of any party. Roosters are talkative types, outspoken, frank, open, honest — but a little too blunt at times. A polished debater and able to cogently refute any opinion, the Rooster is a talented polemicist, and could be an excellent journalist or writer. With the Rooster’s dedication to work well done, he or she would also make a good economist or a gifted administrator.
These people are born organizers, refined and elegant. They are tidy-minded and like to keep everything neat and shipshape. Their affairs will be all in order, accounts up to the minute and documents systematically filed away. They function best in an environment where everything is organized and their schedules programmed. When it comes to making decisions of any kind, Roosters prefer to carefully consider all sides of a situation before coming to a conclusion. In conflicts, Roosters will push to the extreme but flee before open hostilities break out. Their reflective and analytical abilities sometimes get the better of them. They must constantly question their point of view to ascertain its validity.

The management of finances is perhaps their strength, both on a private and professional level. When it comes to money, Roosters are prudent and careful. They are brilliant managers of other people’s money; financial advisers, bank managers, and accountants would all do well to be born in the Year of the Rooster. The Rooster has the reputation of finding money in the most unlikely places, like drawing blood from a stone. In Vietnam they say that, thanks to the strength of his beak and claws, the Rooster can find a worm in a desert. This metaphor goes a long way to explain the continual and restless activity that characterizes him.

The Rooster man likes to be in the company of women, among whom he can show off, shine, swagger and generally demonstrate what a clever fellow he is. However, he rarely goes out for a night with the boys; men bore him to extinction. His Hen counterpart also likes the company of other women — that’s not to say that men bore her! — and she chooses those professions which keep her constantly in touch with them.

The Rooster will touch the heights and depths during the three phases of his life, business-wise as well as romantically. He will go from poverty to riches, from ideal love to the most sordid of emotional entanglements. The Rooster’s old age will be happy, however.

Legend has it in the East that two Ro

  3. The rooster female is fiesty! nothing scares her. She always ends up
with the tiger by the tail. She is honest, and enjoys the company of girls.
She is kindly but can be a deadly enemy.
The rooster female must have a partner who will stand up to her, meet her eye to eye at her own level and never let her get the upper hand.
But unfortunately she usually attracts or is attracted to the weaker males.
She is not the easiest person to live with, she wants things done Her Way and can be overly critical.
    She is usually very attractive
Shes can be vain, bossy and aggressive and has a protective nature.
She is observant and curious. She is not easily fooled , lies dont pass her an inch.
She is down-to-earth, charming, witty and well dressed
