How many powers do you want a goddess or a god to have in a story?

The first one is the goddess of the sea and healing and the second is the god of the sea and healing. They do love each other.
Is dolphin-squeak-sonic-scream a good power to have if you are a mermaid?

  1. It depeds on what kind of godess or god they are, but the more powers i think is the most interesting. Just as long as the aren’t stupid little powers, im tinking maybe 3 or 4.

  2. enough to make them able to DESTROY US ALL!!! DESTROY US ALL!!! DESTROY US ALL!!! DESTROY US ALL!!! DESTROY US ALL!!! DESTROY US ALL!!!

  3. You want to make sure their powers are balanced. Usually it’s one or two, but some can have three or occasionally, four or more. Also, each deities usually have different powers, but in your case, if you want them paired up together, that’s fine too.

The ancient Greeks believed in the system of balance. There has to be both good and evil and all that… otherwise too much of anything causes chaos. You want to make sure you implement that.

Mermaids with dolphin screech? Awesome! That’s how I normally portray mermaids in my mind: they can communicate with creatures of the deep blue seas.
