What are the best natural herbs to use if you have an irregular period?

My mom is in her 40’s and doesn’t want to use birth control because of her age, she is over-weight and has lymphedema which is when your body doesn’t circulate fluid like it should. I am trying to find the best herbs, and I don’t mean the first thing that is searched on google I want to know what is really going to work for her in either of these cases. Please I really need someone who knows what they’re talking about, maybe an herbalist or something.

  1. you could try starflower oil. im not sure if its exactly what you want but i used to get very bad periods and after taking them i hardly notice them. i also had a couple of periods too close together but now they are the same time apart.

  2. Vitex agnus-castus (Chasteberry) is traditionally used to support hormonal balance. Recent studies have supported traditional usage, and research has demonstrated the effectiveness of Chasteberry in supporting regular, comfortable menstrual periods.

Angelica senensis (Don Quai) acts as a hormonal tonic, and is an excellent herb for supporting female reproductive health. It is a very highly regarded medicinal herb in traditional Chinese Medicine. Don Quai acts as a tonic herb for the reproductive system and will address the overall health of your reproductive organs. It is especially useful in maintaining regular periods and balanced estrogen levels.
