  1. Have you tried Dante Gabriel Rossetti. His did a number of mythical paintings. Or Peter Paul Rubens, “The Death of Achilles” is quite good.

  2. the Pre-Raphaelite guy? He’s not really medieval art… What do you want know about him? I love his Ophelia paintings.

  3. His stuff is quite haunting, isn’t it? Long before I knew his name, I saw some prints of his works (I was a kid), and I remembered them in vivid detail when I later learned who he was.   4. I think perhaps you’re referring to John William Waterhouse (1849-1917) who wasn’t a medieval artist, but was in fact a British painter during the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
