  1. Does an eternity burning in hell with gruesome creatures torturing and biting you work for you?

Think again – seek truth and come from darkness into light – meet your God and Father and live for eternity in heaven.

I met Jesus supernaturally when I called on God ot show himself – without asking Jesus forgiveness you are toast

Love you, your bro – giving you the truth!

  2. wiccan has to much christian influence drawn into it and if you do ancient druidic your practicing satanism. Not satanism in the christian sense but satanism as in the religion created by the oldest civilizations known to man if actually intrested i suggest you read everything on http://www.joyofsatan.com

  3. I’m glad you’re easy to please. But what do you mean when you say those religions work for you? They obviously have an emotional appeal but does that make them valid? Does being fashionable and trendy and cool make their imaginary gods real? If Micky Mouse “works” for me does that make him real? Or does that even matter to you? Are you just looking for something to call yourself? Are you just looking for something to identify yourself with? Do you simply believe in believing?

    Think about it.

“I think there is no sense in forming an opinion when there is no evidence to form it on. If you build a person without any bones in him he may look fair enough to the eye but he will be limber and cannot stand up and I consider that evidence is the bones of an opinion.”
    –Mark Twain

  4. don’t you just love Christians that threaten you with hell and then say they love you?

1)Ignore the fundies saying you’ll go to hell and are opening yourself up to demons. They don’t believe in either.
2)Get the book: Wicca, a Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham (Amazon.com used books is a great resource)
3)Avoid Silver Ravenwolf, DJ Conway and most Llewellyn books
4)Do NOT pay for lessons over the internet. You can’t ask for references. Do NOT give out personal information to anyone over the internet. Get a PO Box.
    5)www.witchvox.com http://wicca.timerift.net
6)Learn and keep learning about various paths in paganism.
    7) get the book: “Drawing Down the Moon” by Margo Adler (an older book that’s a little dated, especially concerning Asatru but a good resource) – it gives an overview on a lot of pagan traditions.

  5. Study long and hard. Practice what you study, find your spiritual path that best suits you. If you want to be in a coven, go to witchvox.com and see if some are nearby. Alot of covens tend to take initiates in and teach them their tradition.

  6. Hedge Witch by Rae Beth was pretty much the best book on Solitary Witchraft I ever read. It’s in the form of (real) letters to A Male and a Female trainee Witch.

Scott Cunningham also wrote some lovely books on “Wicca”, and was useful for coven work as well.
Janet and Stuart Farrar’s book “The Witches Bible” has a nice black and spooky cover, but that’s only because it was published years ago when that was the trend! It’s actually quite down to earth. Remembering that the word “bible” just means a collection of books in one. It’s not meant to be a dig at the Christian one.

Look on Amazon for any book by Emma Restall Orr, who is the head of the British Druid Order. She’s got her feet firmly on the ground, and she writes beautifully for beginners.

Hodder and Stoughton may still run their “beginners guide to” books where I found Orr’s book “Druidism” and Teresa Moorey’s book “Witchcraft”
They look a bit happy clappy fluffy, but are laid out very well for the sensible beginner.

Oh and I agree with the poster who put
    “Avoid Silver RavenWolf”.
Awful, utter pap but fun for later on in life when you are fed up of uptight pagan debates. *hehe*
I don’t see any harm in a bit of Witchy velvety dress up now and then. Atmosphere can be everything at a big Pagan Party!

Llewellyn publishers are naff, but there’s no harm in buying their yearly almanack for the articles and the quick reference moon chart etc.
