In regards to scrying- in purchasing my first scrying mirror should I choose convex or concave, and why?

I am already relitively well versed with the bowl but, sometimes I have a hard time connecting. My bowl is marble but not completely black- so it makes it harder to concentrate or (un)concentrate however you want to say it. Anyway, any ideas would be appriciated

  1. Concave usually works better, but I’m speaking from personal expierence and what I’ve heard from my aunt whos a lot more practiced than I am.

  2. Convex spreads things outward…. allowing you to see the bigger picture.

Concave draws things inward…. allowing you to focus on the finer details.

Take from that what you will.

  3. I use a large sphere (4″) of rainbow obsidian. It’s relatively inexpensive–probably less than a mirror. I connect with stones so it really works well for me.
