A higher spiritual awareness of the biology of the brain & mind can significantly advance one towards Enlightenment and Zen. The science of biology says that the brain’s thoughts are just the result of cells doing work, and teachings on spirituality talk about having a silent mind of Zen. 1. @jsab0 I am my heart, my lungs, my brain, my thoughts, my feelings, my actions. Even the illusory “me” exists as a construct of my brain to help it differentiate this body from it’s surroundings. I am one. I exist as a sum of all my parts. What doesn’t exist is freedom of will or choice. I am causally bound. What is completely determines what will be. My feeling of free will is only a feeling, nothing more. I am completely predetermined, and simply fortunate to exist and to have come this way.

  2. @Claudia2288 That’s the paradox. There is no “you” to be Enlightened. Enlightenment happens by itself when all sense of individuality, “me”, “mine”, “I” or “self” is dropped. When the very energy behind all thought is let go of and seen as useless. When the mind has become utterly Silent and there is only Awareness aware of Itself. There is no “me” to do or experience anything. Read “Who Cares?!” by Ramesh Balsekar or books by Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj or David R. Hawkins.

  3. We are the body it’s just that most of what we are we are not conscious of. The un or subconscious has been honed over hundreds of thousands of years and has allowed us to evolve into what we are. We didn’t consciously bring ourselves into this existence by a long way.

  4. This video is ok. Even if it weren’t true and completely bullshit it’d be ok. I’m ok with that. Even if I weren’t ok that would be ok too. AS IF MY LIFE WOULDN’T LIVE ITSELF!!

  5. Once experienced personally this technology transforms lives. Judged externally, as with any teaching, by the mind, without experience, one cannot speak to its effectiveness. As with all teachings, they can only be absorbed by opening the mind to the experience of the lesson. The mind quickly shuts down all knowledge with its doubting reason. Experience is the key to understanding.
If one was to read a manual on flying, would they be qualified to fly a plane safely? Not without experience.

  8. There is not enough room in this post for me to leave any real contribution to what you are saying, although I agree. I have come to understand what it means to be a silent observer some time ago, when I began to study the true nature of reality. I applaud you for trying to enlighten people. For me, trying to explain what I know to others is meaningless. I can’t tell them anything they don’t want to hear, the answers must be sought with an open mind, which is a concept most people fail to grasp.

  9. @jsab0
Peace is a lie. There is only passion.
    Through passion, I gain strength.
    Through strength, I gain power.
    Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
    The Force shall free me.

  10. @guruartist I agree with you, but that’s not what I wrote… ‘Mental Masterbation’ in tick marks refers to a phrase. Meaning ::: it may feel good to engage in this activity, but no procreative action will result. Sorry if I didn’t make myself clear on that point……

  11. @kilgonus Masturbation is in whatever way you analyse it, is only mental, the physical part is the second tool…the rest is up to the doer!
