In the religion Wicca, what is Red Dirt and where can I find it?

I feel a little silly asking this because it might just be obvious, but what exactly is Red Dirt in the religion Wicca and where can I find it?

  1. never heard of it, i have heard of graveyard dirt/dust and goofer dust but not red dirt?

  2. Sorry no idea.

Could it be Dragon’s blood?? Despite the name it’s the dried sap of a tree that’s a lovely red.

    .

  3. I’m not sure what red dirt is, but I think there is a rock called red ochre. It could be from that.

  4. What has led you to connect “red dirt” with Wicca? That might help us give you a useful answer. Personally, I’ve never heard of it, and I’ve been studying Wicca 20 years.

  5. In the US Red dirt is in and around Arizona and New Mexican Deserts, but I will have to do research because that is the first time I have head it in reference to Wicca.

  6. I am wiccan and own the elemental book you should know about the tri so don’t use this knowledge to harm anyone red dirt if i am correct in the flare protection spell red dirt is just red clay the put red dirt as if you look it also will say white dirt and black dirt hope this awnsers your question if not look up the book

  7. Could be clay / dirt, or Red Brick dust.

If it’s a general “earth” working, go with the dirt. If it’s to protect your home, use red brick dust.

  8. It could be a number of things. The main one that goes through my head is Red Brick Dust, but if where ever you are coming up with this says dirt, then it isn’t going to be Red Brick Dust. Are you getting this from a book? If so it should tell you what it is. Other than that I can’t tell you. I’ve never heard of it or seen it sold in any magick shop I’ve been too.
