Indonesian herbal drink sales to increase 15 per cent: Association
Despite the increasing prices of ingredients, producers of local herbal drink or jamu were optimistic that their sales will increase to between Rp 11 trillion (S$1.53 billion) and Rp 12 trillion this year from Rp 10 trillion last year.

However, pharmacist, herbal apothecary and owner of Oldtown Road Pharmacy Brad Thomas said it’s been his experience that public demand “for these products started intensifying” in the early 1990s.
