Blackmore’s Night – The Storm

A timeless and forgotten place, The moon and sun in endless chase Each in quiet surrender as the other reigns the sky… The midnight hour begins to laugh A summer evening’s epitaph The winds are getting crazy As the storm begins to rise… Wild were the winds that came In the thunder and the rain Nothing ever could contain The rising of the storm…. In the wing of ebony Darkened waves fill the trees Wild winds of warning Echo through the air… Follow the storm, I’ve got to get out of here… Follow the storm as you take to the sky… Follow the storm now it’s all so crystal clear, Follow the storm as the storm begins to rise… She seems to come from everywhere Welcome to the dragon’s lair Fingers running through your hair She asks you out to play… In all of nature’s sorcery The most bewitching entity Hell can have no fury Like the rising of the storm… Follow the storm, I’ve got to get out of here… Follow the storm as you take to the sky… Follow the storm now it’s all so crystal clear, Follow the storm as the storm begins to rise…

  1. people would think you’re crazy if you just randomly say all the lyrics in public, but if people actually hear the lyrics for once, they will understand the beauty of the words our ancestors created.

looking at the heart of a woman is the same as looking at the eye of the storm. she might look a feral when she is actually a cute shy woman.

  3. I love the vast majority of their music, but this one just doesn’t really do it for me, and before anyone jumps on me about not listening to it then, this is the first time I’ve listened to it. I do agree that it’s a great song and well put together though. All of their songs are. Happy listening all. 🙂

  4. BRILLIANT INTRO…..blackmore’s really taking his guitar playing to new levels, these days….

  5. I like to imagine my own characters and movie scenes when it comes to this band’s music ;D

  6. @Tilodeus ooh I’m much more mysterious I don’t even get myself and I’m a man of well and taste:-))

  7. @paters1

  8. @Tilodeus Nothing really mysterious about women… 😀 It’s just you hiding things from yourself…
