  1. It would certainly explain the trouble monotheists have with the notion that their god is omnipotent and benevolent but the world still pretty much sucks. If there are multiple deities, then none can be all-powerful.

Still, pantheism makes the most sense to me because it is difficult to explain where the gods came from in the first place.

  2. I was a polytheist for many years. The concept of either all gods or no gods always made sense to me – it still does. I just decided that no gods was more logical than all gods.

  3. It depends. Different things make sense to different people. Polytheism or panentheism (or possibly pantheism or deism) make the most sense to me. But who cares? To each their own.

  4. You mean sort of like the way Congress is run? Too many chiefs and not enough Indians makes chaos.

  5. No. Personally, I don’t believe in God because it “makes sense” (though it does). I believe in God because I think it truly happened and that’s how it is.

  6. RIGHT?

That’s why I like the saints , they remind me of the many Greek Gods who had a specific job. Saints are similar in that they are patrons of many things. (Ex: If you ask Saint Anthony, he’ll help you find a boyfriend/girlfriend. Saint Lucy will help you with sight).

  7. Most Pagan faiths, including mine, are Polytheistic, Monotheism is actually quite rare, with only three examples, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, having any serious following. As to “making sense” that is a matter of personal opinion, and something we must all decide for ourselves.

  8. Look. If that’s the way you feel, then there is nothing to stop you from converting to a polytheistic religion.

Do your research, & you will find plenty of them.

In fact, please allow me to mention some to you:

Astatru, Wicca, Jainism, Buddhism, Taoism, Shinto, Geniism, Bon, Yoruba, Voodoo, Santeria, Maori & other Aboriginal religions from Australia & New Zealand, native religions from Hawaii.

    Plenty for you to discover.
