Q&A: Are the rising and moon signs usually the next two signs after the sun sign?

Question by MaeRae07: Are the rising and moon signs usually the next two signs after the sun sign?
Jeeze how many times did I use the word “sign” haha.

Anyway for example, my sun sign is Aries, my moon sign is Taurus, and my rising sign is Gemini. So if my sun sign were Taurus, would my moon sign be Gemini and my rising sign be Cancer?

No, the Rising sign is based on a certain hour that you were born (like very specific time), and Moon depends on what sign the moon is in at the time (that stays the same for roughly 2 days).

  1. No, they certainly aren’t. However, other personal planets like Mercury, Mars and Venus have a more likely chance of being in the next sign or 2 signs away from yours, due to their speed of orbit in relation to Earth’s movement.

The Rising sign changes every 2 hours so technically speaking, you can be in any of the 12 signs, depending on the time of birth on that day. A birth at midnight would indicate a Gemini Rising and so on…

The Moon sign also has a 1 in 12 possibility of being in any sign in that particular month, since the Moon changes signs every 2.5 days. If you were a Taurus, the best moon placements for u would be in a fellow earth or water element.

  2. Hi,
    First know how we predict-
moon sign predict our mind & man (thinkings),feelings
sun sign predict our soul & soul nature (satvik ,Tamsik)
rising sign predict our body & features
so every sign has its own nature & rules
and it is difficutl to write every thing about .

  3. No. For example, I have Aquarius rising, but my moon is Leo. Depends upon day of birth. The moon goes through all signs each month.
