Why We Should Reuse Our Teabags

by uair01

Nowadays, similar to what is happening in our country today, we experience recession regarding our finances in our own households. Because of this, we exhaust all possible means to be able to scrimp and save. This is true particularly when we are buying our groceries, preparing our food, serving and finally eating it. This can be applied in the drinking of our beverages as well, especially tea. Instant tea enclosed in tea bags are commonly used today, and this is one way of saving our food resources.

Tea is easily becoming one of the favorite beverages of most people today. Similar to coffee, it also contains certain amounts of antioxidants that are healthful to our bodies. Antioxidants are said to fight the free radicals in our bodies and helps in the prevention of cancer cell growth. It is considered by many as contributory factor to weight loss.

But how can it aid us in our efforts to save money?

The bags can be reused, and you will still get the taste of the same amount of tea as when they were first prepared and served. The technique is to remove them immediately from the cup with boiled water when making a cup of tea. For the second preparation, the bag must be steeped a while longer to get the same taste as for the first preparation. Some people will say they were able to prepare up to five servings from a single tea bag. Now this is what we call scrimping while saving money. You might not notice it, but when this is practiced daily and you total the amount of money being saved with each preparation, this is already quite a lot.

Although some of these can be quite expensive, these are of the high-quality types and the ones that can be reused.

In fact, there are already expensive tea bags that are sold Therefore, even if these are expensive; the fact that they can be reused makes for more savings instead. Green tea type is also costly, but bearing in mind that it contains more antioxidant, you can get more health benefits out of it aside from the money saved from reusing it.

Reusing of tea bags is a wise move for those who want to save on resources while enjoying a cup and tea and enjoying it more the second time around. And one of the best ways to enjoy your tea is by drinking it from one of these gorgeous tea mugs such as the china tea mugs.

Drinking tea from ceramic tea mugs, or infusing them before using tea infuser mugs is one of the best ways to truly enjoy that second cup of tea.

Your Body Is Your Compass

Think you’ve been left out? Not a chance. Each one of us was created with our very own ability to grasp exactly where we need to be, what we need to be doing and who we’re to be doing ‘it’ with. Disagree? Let’s put it this way, have you ever had a hunch and neglected to act upon it? That’s what I’m talking about……Whether we like it or not, there is a plan and the end
result is the same. It seems we ignore the inclinations and then struggle with the outcome.

In 1998, I met someone I ‘knew’ was someone I was meant to connect with; yet, not for long. However, the decision made was one that would challenge my integrity (personal truth) as well as conflict with society’s expectations. What an appropriate test! And, I mean test…. you see, I firmly believe each one of us fundamentally knows what’s best for us and we consistently make choices in order to challenge this knowing. Why? Look at it this way, why does a child do something you ask him or her not to do? To test what they’re hearing as well as what they suspect to be true. Sadly, adults discount the inner wisdom of a child ultimately squelching the impulsive, free spirit. As we grow, we take on doubting ourselves. The interesting twist to this concept is even though we doubt, we never give up the test … that is what I’m talking about.

There are some schools of thought stating that self doubt is bad and harmful. What if it’s not? What if it’s our way of waking ourselves up? Let’s face it; many of us love a good game. Maybe this is our way of keeping life interesting….hmmmm … AND, if it’s a wakeup call, that means we are providing ourselves with a choice. In this moment of noticing the feelings of

disappointment and let down, we are present and aware which lends itself to the choice of either perpetuating the awareness or simply slipping back into ‘life continuing to happen to you’…..the choice is clearly yours.

However, for those of us who like to have some sense of what’s going on (otherwise known as control freaks), we must practice paying attention to how we feel in any given moment about any given situation. Our feelings will guide us and even though we truly do not have a say about how things ultimately go, we are tapped into Source and going with the flow. We’re aware of the next step, trusting the value of the process. According to Deepak Chopra,
this is another way of saying, ‘detached intention’.

If you are as much of a control freak as I am, it’ll take some time to peel your fingers from the steering wheel; however, I say go for it. Pretend life is a roller coaster … raise your arms … laugh AND cry … let it all out. Emotions are the vehicle for releasing cellular memory. If you don’t release, you’ll never shift your experience in life. This is what I suspect to be the reason why many people do not take the risk of following their hunches / heart. They are afraid the emotions will never stop; that life will not be different; that they’re destined to be heavy, unhappy, stuck in a rut; or they are such control freaks they need to know exactly how things are going to go (can you say fear?). Again, it’s really ok if you don’t want to take chances….I’m just attempting to stir the fires in those on the verge of going for it….

What was the result of that relationship? A divorce even though I struggled with the commitment I made to him as well as what the world would think of me. What a waste of energy! After much consideration, my discovery was this: for most of my life, I was committed
to challenge, growth, and self love. Staying in a situation I knew I didn’t belong was going against my commitment to me and it became a question of which commitment was bigger. I chose to step away because I loved both of us enough to honor the calling rather than remain stuck in a paradigm that didn’t match my belief system. As I see it, each one of us faces similar degrees of commitment and it takes courage as well as awareness to distinguish the
differences and know how to prioritize them.

The Art of Creating

by mallix

Article by Susan Russo

“Every thought we think is creating our future.”
-Louise L. Hay

Your thoughts are the beginning of creating anything in your life. Our beliefs mold our experiences. When you tune into what it is you believe about any given situation; you will understand why your life moves in the direction of that belief. Whatever it is you think about is what you will attract to yourself. So, as you acquire the knowledge about the “art of creating”; you will gain the power to change any circumstance in your life.

First you need to decide what it is you would like to create; a better body, a more loving relationship, a new career, financial security, a new attitude, peace of mind, or a home on the beach. It all starts with making a choice. These choices are what goals are made of; they give you a road map to reach your destination and they put you on a path to attaining your desires.

Clearly defining what you want will allow you to begin to consciously focus your thoughts on your intentions. You will actually start to see more of whatever it is you want come into your view. Let’s say you want a home on the beach; suddenly you will start to see movies with beach scenes, people will begin to talk about vacations to exotic places, or magazines you read will feature beach homes. You may think this is a coincidence but as you purposefully direct your thoughts to what you desire; you will attract more of it into your life. This is called the “Law of Attraction.”

Next, you must picture yourself living what you want to experience. See yourself walking down the beach, imagine having a glass of wine by the pool while watching the sunset and feel the ocean breeze touching your skin as you entertain your closest friends. Create in your mind the delicious feeling of having realized your dreams of living on the beach. As you paint a vivid picture in your mind; wrap your emotions around these images; and you will break down the barriers of time.

Consistency, commitment and discipline in continually training your thoughts to think about what you desire, backed by your passion to attain it; will manifest your dreams into reality. The key is that you have to be dedicated to and have the passion to do what it takes to create your truest desires. By taking time each day to focus on whatever it is you want to create; will put you well on your way to experiencing it.

Stay true to yourself. Use your mind to create a whole new world and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish. Creation is the artistic side of your mind. Begin to design your life and what you want to experience; by implementing the “art of creating” into your life.
