Transcription to follow: I’m Melanie Dreher; I’m dean of nursing at Rush University Medical Center. I’m a nurse and I’m an anthropologist. I think the medicinal properties of cannabis are just beginning to be explored systematically. But cannabis has existed as medicine for centuries. My first exposure to cannabis as medicine was working in Jamaica. And where it is known as the king of herbs. One of the consistent ingredients in most of the preparations they gave to their patients was cannabis. And subsequent to that, my major professor at Columbia University was funded by the National Institute of Drug Abuse, to do a regular study of Cannabis in Jamaica, marijuana in Jamaica. Mainly in response to all the research that was going on looking at the immediate effects of marijuana, this is in the late ’60s early ’70s. And people were concerned about the acute effects, what happens when you smoke. Does it affect your driving, your thinking, your coordination or whatever? And no one had really looked at what happens to people when they smoke consistently every day for a long period of time, what was the health impact of that. So he was funded to do that, I was a graduate student, and he said “you had such a great summer in Jamaica last year working on this other project would you come and be the main ethnographer for this part of the project”. Wash hair with normal water Natural home remedy using curry leaves and coconut oil: 1. Take 7-8 crushed curry leaves 2. Add 3 tbsp of coconut oil 3. Heat this mixture for 5-7 min 4. Strain the mixture 5. Massage on scalp when lukewarm Natural home remedy using lemon juice and almond oil: 1. Take 1 tsp of lemon juice 2. Add 2 tsp of almond oil 3. Mix well 4.     For remedy 2 & 3, do you massage the oil concoction on the scalp before shampooing (like a deep treatment) or after shampooing (leave-on treatment)? And how long should it stay on the scalp?

    Hello! Thanks a lot for this helpful video. By the way, I hear lots of people keep on talking about Uritrafe Remedy (do a google search), but I’m not sure if it’s good. Have you ever tried home remedy called Uritrafe Remedy? I have heard some extraordinary things about it and my cooworker completely cures his UTI safely with this remedy.
