  • New Book by Best-Selling Author Steven S. Sadleir, Naked Soul, Explores Worshiping God in the Feminine

Laguna Beach, CA (PRWEB) September 26, 2007

Naked Soul is a collection of ecstatic writings, poetry and prose celebrating the living presence of God being expressed in everyone and in everything, everywhere, all the time, but particularly recognizing it within women. The author expresses his love affair with the Divine through God’s presence as woman, and takes the reader into an intoxicated state where male and female, as well as human and divine, merge together in sacred union.

Sadleir’s premise is that “God is love” and when you open your heart to realize this living presence or spirit within you enter into paradise. The words bring back the latent memory of a joy and peace we all come from but have forgotten. Naked Soul awakens the memory of our spirit nature and provides a road map for coming home again. “The words are there to strip your mind of logic and reason and to set your spirit free” says Sadleir who won the International poetry award last year with his poem Emotions.

Love for God is expressed sensually and erotically. The reader is invited to “make union” with the Divine and sees God exulted in the feminine form. Sadleir makes love to God through poems called Passion’s Lair and Naked Truth and then is invited to play in God’s secret garden in The Secret Code, Finding Pennies and God is Groovy. Deliberately written in a way that defies convention and in a style unique to the author alone, Naked Soul is sure to offend editors and patrons of poetry alike. It is written for those who are either already crazy or who want to be crazy. “Reading this book will cause you to go crazy…if only while your reading it,” states Sadleir who is a Spiritual Master and Director of the Self Awareness Institute.

Steven S. Sadleir is the best-selling author of Looking for God: A Seeker’s Guide to Religious and Spiritual Paths of the World (Penguin-Putnam), a compendium of every major spiritual path, denomination and teacher on the planet, and Wake Up: Live the Life You Love, co-authored with Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer and Mark Victor Hansen, as well as other popular books, such as, The Calling and The Awakening. Steven is director of The Self Awareness Institute with students in over 120 countries, teaches Shaktipat Meditation globally, and has a radio show on the Internet called Enlightenment Radio.

Naked Soul (ISBN 978-1-8835-4406-5, 100 pages, $ 24.95), is a guide book to higher consciousness. This book is available through New Leaf Distributing, Amazon.com, in bookstores or on the publisher’s website.

  • Q&A: Do you believe in “soul mates”?

Question by Wren: Do you believe in “soul mates”?
I saw a question a little bit ago that mentioned soul mates and it made me wonder. Is there really such a things as a soul mate? What if you meet your soul mate, but for some reason dont connect with them. Or maybe you get separated by an uncontrollable circumstance. DO you think you miss your chance, or does that person cross your path again? If you meet your soul mate, and after 5 years they die. Does that mean you never love again..or do you find someone else? And if you find someone else, is that person really your soul mate….and if you met them both at the same time how wold you know which one to pick?

Maybe I am just a little jaded. At one point in my life I was certain that there was “one” person for everyone. Now, I am not so sure. What do you think?
I am not saying that I dont think you can only love one person. I have been in love before..several times. These were people that in the right circumstances I could have had a long lasting relationship with. Maybe I didnt make that clear. What I was talking about was a deeper, more lasting bond. That person that you feel you “know” the first time you meet. I know it sounds childish…and very “hollywood” But still….

  • Do you believe in “soul mates” and “happily ever after”? see below?

Question by latj: Do you believe in “soul mates” and “happily ever after”? see below?
If you had asked me twenty+ years ago I would have answered no but since I’ve been married that long and very happily I say “yes”. This is my second marriage and the first was horrific…marked with physical violence that almost led to me being killed. I swore that I wouldn’t remarry because I had two very young kids and was finishing my Masters Degree and starting my own business when I met my Husband. We met through an “extended circle of friends” and a failed group date left us alone one evening and we went to a movie and thus was the beginning of “us”. We never were alone from that night on. Two months later he proposed to me but I said “no”. Years later I look back and realize that he is my “Prince Charming” and my perfect soul mate. I would never want to be with anyone else and think that there is someone out there for everyone…that one special person. Yes…I may have had to kiss a few bad toads…but I do believe in soul mates and “happily ever after” Any thoughts…do you believe and why?

It could have come from the idea of Adam and Eve, the two parts that make a whole. In Hebrew it is called a “bashert” or intended.

  • So what happens when your “soul mate” dies before you meet them or even if you die before meeting them?

Question by nickel: So what happens when your “soul mate” dies before you meet them or even if you die before meeting them?
So I believe that when you are born, God has already designated a soul mate for you. So what happens when your designated “soul mate” dies before you meet them or even if you die before meeting them? Does God not designate a soulmate for those that will die before marriage?

I think if their truly ur soul mate (cause I believe the way u do to) they won’t die b4 u get married and u won’t die either. Also, I don’t think God would designate a soul mate if ur going to die b4 u have a chance to get married. Unless God meant 4 u 2 b single. But I’m assuming u want to get married, and with that in mind ur soul mate is out their somewhere! 🙂 Just pray and ask God to bring him into ur life, and it’ll happen when the time is right. 🙂

Just my opinion, hope that helps! 🙂
