It depends on how serious you take it. The traditional martial arts were a lifestyle that involved the mind body and spirit. However, today in the United States martial arts has been watered down to more of a hobby or a sport. Not everywhere but if you watch enough television you will see ads for tons of different martial arts centers.

I think NeoPaganism is in some ways a continuance of earlier Paganism, and in some ways is something entirely new. I’m not sure that if you were able to send a group of modern Wiccans back to any time and place in human history that they would find any group or religion that looked like them. At the same time, I think they would find resonance with the ancient goddess religions around the world and in all times.

  • If you think 2012 is the end of the world, are you admitting that Ancient Mayans had the one true religion?

Question by Lindsay: If you think 2012 is the end of the world, are you admitting that Ancient Mayans had the one true religion?
It’s THEIR prophecy after all. They weren’t predicting a Christian apocalypse. Christianity did not exist for them. They were predicting a MAYAN (you know, another one of the hundreds of diverse faiths you disrespectfully group together as “paganism”) apocalypse.
