Nadia Ali — Feels So Good Without ever making the music lose its distinctive trance character, Armin van Buuren released an album bursting with diversity. ‘Mirage’ has set forth a sound that doesn’t let itself be caught in a one-style corner. Singles ‘Full Focus’, ‘Not Giving Up On Love’, ‘This Light Between Us’ and ‘Drowning’ all caused different impact, but exploding the global dancefloors they did. The fifth single taken from ‘Mirage’, is another new story to be told. For the single ‘Feels So Good’, that Armin co-wrote with the famous sing/songwriter duo of Mim and Liv Nervo, he invited the vocal queen of EDM, Nadia Ali. Her seductive voice still warms the crowds, years after her IIO classic ‘Rapture’ first shattered across the arena’s and clubs. For Armin’s ‘Shivers’ album in 2005, she rocked the powerful ‘Who Is Watching?’, now followed by a more playful ‘Feels So Good’ 6 years later. Rapturous as always, Nadia’s voice seductively flirts with a heavy but teasing bassguitar, laidback beat and electric melody. Sweeping you off your feet from first play on, you’ll be hooked to ‘Feels So Good’ in no time. To make ‘Feels So Good’ suit the peak-time moments on the floor, Armin didn’t only bring a warm but techy-edged club mix of the original himself, but also invited Jerome Isma-Ae, Jochen Miller and Tristan Garner to the party. Spiritual Art ~ Freydoon Rassouli ~ In Spheres of Divine Light

Freydoon Rassouli, born on November 18, 1943 in Iran, is a visionary artist who has a unique way of reflecting spiritual experience by expressing images from his subconscious onto canvas. He often stimulates creativity by meditating at dawn watching the sunrise in a natural setting, or by envisioning a mystical journey through a night sky. His style does not focus on what is literally seen by the artist, but by surrendering conceptually to what is felt on a deeper level. Rassouli’s painting technique is known as Fusionart, a style that he has created and registered and is presently teaching to many artists in Southern California. The main theme of Fusionart is cosmic unity. The painting style is derived from mysticism, near-eastern spirituality, and a foundation in European painting technology. The conceptual approach of Fusionart has been developing in Rassouli since early childhood, and it is evident in his paintings, reliefs, architectural design, sculptures, book illuminations and murals. He was born in Isfahan, Iran and was raised in a historical home decorated with murals and intricate floral designs. Inspired and encouraged by his mystic uncle, Rassouli developed an early appreciation for painting and mystical poetry, and spent endless hours taking lessons from classical and impressionist artists, and studying mysticism. Soon he discovered new ways to transform his subconscious images into forms that he could share with others. Recognized as “the best student

Stepping Into Your Glorious Light

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we’re powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’  Actually, who are you NOT to be?

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.  We are all meant to shine, as children do.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.  As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
              ~Marianne Williamson

Spring is a time of birth and renewal. Things that were dormant all winter are budding and blooming and, with each day, there is more light. On the surface, this means longer, brighter days. Deeper, it can be an opportunity for our own selves to shine brighter.

As children we may or may not have been encouraged to shine. And so as adults, we may have to learn some new behaviors–to brag a little, to declare our talents, to claim our own light and then shine it into the world.

Everyone has a unique set of talents and interests. We all have capabilities that we are passionate about and that can be used to create value in the world.
Many of us have been taught not to brag about what we’re good at, or what we love.
So here’s a chance to try it.

Take out a blank piece of paper, take a deep breathe and answer these questions about yourself.
Then be brave and ask your friends for their input, too. Getting another person’s perspective is so helpful to get a clearer picture of who you really are and how others see you shine.

This could be playing with your kids, adding numbers in your head, cooking delicious meals, pitching a tent, diffusing a tense situation. List EVERYTHING that comes to mind, even the little things.

Are you funny, honest, compassionate, patient, smart, intuitive, feisty, creative, determined, reliable, helpful? List EVERYTHING you can think of.

Companionship, nurturing, support, honesty, a good laugh? List EVERYTHING you can come up with.

Are you organized, a collector, inventive, good with older people, a leader, a planner, spontaneous, an adventurer?

Now read through your answers. Add more things as you think of them.

How does it feel? Do you feel the slightest bit proud and in awe of yourself?

How can you be more of this amazing person?

How can you share your unique gifts with others to spread the light?
