Are There Really Coincidences in Life or Are They Clues?

That’s funny, I was just thinking about you. I have a gut feeling…… Amazing, I was just looking for information on that subject. That’s lucky.

Deepak Chopra has a quote “Seekers are offered clues all the time from the world of spirit. Ordinary people call these clues coincidences”.

Dictionary term: The occurrence of events that happen at the same time by accident but seem to have some connection.

Is there the possibility that there might be more to this life then what we can see with the naked eye?  We all have our own beliefs. Some believe in Heaven and Hell, God, Spirit Guides and Angels while others may not believe in anything at all.  Perhaps there is no such thing as coincidence and that we are offered clues all the time if we just listen to our inner voice.

I have a perfect example of how listening to my inner voice or so called coincidences have had an impact on my life. The other day, I was in a little bit of a funk and then I woke up Wednesday bright eyed and bushy tailed. I said to myself, I could be gone tomorrow so I am enjoying my moment today. Well I walk into the bathroom and the song on the radio was a Nickleback song “If today was your last day….”. Well I just grin and say my little thank you, as that is exactly what I was thinking 5 minutes prior. Coincidence??? Perhaps.

How many times have you thought about someone and they call or you need a key piece of information or contact list and you turn around and it is there. How many times have you said to a friend, that’s weird, I was just thinking the same thing or I was just going to call you.

We live in a world where we have to see something with our own eyes to believe it. If it is not scientific or black and white, it doesn’t exist.

Is there a possibility that perhaps there are things that happen in our lives that we cannot explain or that perhaps there is something that we cannot see, but we feel in our “gut” that helps us along in our life? Some may call this crazy, but I challenge you over the next few weeks think about it. Instead of saying well that’s a coincidence, give it a second thought and think about how many times that comes up in your life?  What if it’s not a coincidence at all?  What if you followed these clues throughout your life? Perhaps you are being guided by something bigger then you ever imagined?  Anything is possible if you listen.

I know that the more I believe in something I can’t see, the more help I get. In the past, I have had all kinds of clues appear. When I look back, I realize that if I had acknowledged those clues, things may have been different. Today I trust in the clues and they don’t let me down too often.

Perhaps it is all coincidence, but boy if it is I must be the luckiest person in the world!

Q&A: If Gardnerian craft is such a “secret”, then why do they publish so many books about themselves?

Question by Green Pagan 4.0: If Gardnerian craft is such a “secret”, then why do they publish so many books about themselves?
If you look up Wicca on wikipedia, you’ll be completely bombarded with all of the “secret ways of the wise” that were (as far as I can tell) fabricated by Gerald Gardner and Doreen Valiente for marketing purposes.

There are 3 or 4 people from that coven that are hailed by mainstream society as the High Priests and Priestesses of “modern day wicca” and it seems that all they do is sell their books and collect praise (without any significant amount of fact-checking involved).

If it’s all such a secret and they can decline to reveal any relevant information, then why would anyone bother buying their stories?

Furthermore, why is Gerald Gardner seemingly the only witch cited on Wikipedia?

Haha, well more people are interested if you say it’s a secret, and then you can sell more books. 😉 Apparently it takes a while for people to notice that the whole publishing books thing contradicts it supposedly being a secret…

And of course if you say it’s a secret that’s a great excuse for not having to explain things, like why the techniques in your books don’t work for everyone, or how you did something that’s physically impossible.

The “High Priests and Priestesses” themselves might not even realize they’re doing this, but that’s how the logic works…

Reincarnation & Karma – 4 Reasons People Think They Lived Past lives as Famous Historical Figures

Article by Scott Petullo & Stephen Petullo

Too often, there are reports of people claiming to have been
glorified historical figures in past lives.

It’s a frequent misconception, perhaps encouraged in part by
somewhat unscrupulous psychics who tell clients how important
they were in their past lives. When people are regressed and
see their own past lives, it’s common to perceive experiences as
being both rich and poor, male and female, powerful and powerless,
productive and unproductive, and so on. If people perceive
themselves as a famous historic figure such as Cleopatra,
Joan of Arc, one of the Disciples of Jesus, or even as Jesus
himself, there are four possible explanations for this:

1. The person really was the historic figure in a past life.

2. The person is identifying with personality patterns
associated with the historic individual to such an extent that
the person believes he or she was that individual.

3. The person’s ego is adding to the session. For example,
perhaps he or she perceives through regression the ancient
civilization of Egypt and a woman who looked like Cleopatra,
or they may have been associated with Cleopatra, but the
regressed person wasn’t actually Cleopatra.

4. The person is somehow connecting to the energy or
consciousness that was once part of the historic figure.

Regarding those who consider people who believe in reincarnation
and past lives to be escapists and cowards, it actually takes
more courage to accept and live within the ideals of reincarnation
and karma because it means you have to take responsibility for
everything you do, say, intend, and feel for all that happens to
you. There is no such thing as a victim, you can’t blame anyone for
anything, and you “get away with” nothing.

Furthermore, physical death may be the end of our body, but
we are far more than just a body. Our soul consists of energy
or life force. Science has proven that energy never dies and
can’t be destroyed; it just takes a different form.

Past life regression can be used for entertainment purposes,
but more importantly, even if you don’t believe in past lives,
it can be a very useful and therapeutic tool.

Finally, it doesn’t really matter if the theories of reincarnation
and karma are valid or not, but if we all acted as if they were,
our world would be a much better place.

do you believe everybody has a “soul mate” that they eventually meet?

Question by .: do you believe everybody has a “soul mate” that they eventually meet?
do you believe that the idea of a predestined “soul mate” exists? why or why not?
Ashera: i see what you mean, but that’s why i said they “eventually MEET,” not stay with. it could just be someone you were in a class with, or a co-worker, someone you should have gotten to know but didn’t. you just passed them by because you didn’t know they were your soul mate.

No, that implies that we are all entitled to have a partner and that happy relationships are easy. If you aren’t going to put in the effort to make a relationship work, it will fail. It doesn’t matter how compatible you are.
